Five Guys Review

This weekend we thought we would try Five Guys again in Cabot Circus, Bristol. The last time we went it was pretty mediocre and thought it wasn't as great as everyone was making out.

This time though we really did enjoy our burgers! I had a bacon and cheese burger with mayo, tomato, lettuce and pickles.

If you haven't been to Five Guys before, you order your choice of burger or hotdog and then add the toppings that you want. There's loads of different toppings available and everything is cooked to order so you know it hasn't been sitting around on the side for ages.

The burgers are pretty big and filling but we still bought regular fries to share. The fries are SO GOOD! They still have the skin on too that makes it even better, but they're £4 which I think is a bit pricey.

For a Saturday night the place was empty. We got there about 8.30pm and we were order number 1. I think there were about 8 more orders made while we were eating but most of those were take away.

I couldn't make a post without mentioning the famous drinks machine Five Guys has. It's one of those massive Coca Cola machines that lets you create different drinks like Raspberry Fanta and Strawberry Sprite. My favourite from yesterday was Cherry Vanilla Coke.

A meal can be pretty pricey, a bacon cheese burger cost £8.75, regular fries £4 and a drink £2.50. Although the drinks are free refill and you know everything is cooked especially for you, so I guess that makes up for it in the end.

I'd definately recommend you try it atleast once!
