The First Bristol Tattoo Convention

This year was the first Bristol Tattoo Convention Weekend held at Brunels Old Station. It was such a rad day out with lots of things to look at and plenty of tattoos to be envious of!

Tickets were available to buy online before the event but also on the door, we got a day ticket for Sunday as we thought it would make us more proactive rather than staying at home with Netflix like usual.

I was really surprised to see a wide variety of people attending the show, there were a few families with children, which I thought was great, then there were people who had never been tattooed before but wanted to come and look for inspiration.A few of our friends did that and they said they throughly enjoyed it and definately want to get tattooed now!

There were many artists doing walk ins but a lot were fully booked by the time we looked around and decided on designs. Luckily for me, I had already booked my tattoo appointment with Cassandra Frances back in April. (I've had a countdown on my phone for it as I was so excited!!) However, Chris and Dan were able to get a walk in appointment towards the end of the day which they were super stoked on!

As well as tattoos for sale, there were also a number of stalls that sold artwork, tshirts, tattoo supplies, jewellery, vintage items but there was also a barbers and a live sign writer!
At the back of the room was a sectioned off seating area where films were played all day and food and drink were available.

It really was a great day for only £10 a ticket!

Thank you again so much Cassandra! I love her!

Will you be attending next year?
We can't wait!
